Lake County Parks & Recreation is calling for volunteers to help support this year's Kids Summer Day Camp at Hammond Park, and community members are encouraged to get involved.
The camp will take place July 28–30, 2026, and volunteers are needed during the 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. window each day (camp itself runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.). Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
Volunteers can help in a variety of ways, including:
- Setup and cleanup
- Games and activities
- Snack and lunch support
- Check-in support
- General camp support
- Bilingual support
As a special incentive, parent or guardian volunteers who are selected may have their child or children attend camp for free.
Those interested in volunteering can scan the QR code on the flyer or visit lake-county-volunteer-form.vercel.app to complete the volunteer interest form.
Please note that submitting the interest form does not guarantee approval or placement, and selected applicants may need to complete County volunteer onboarding.
This event is hosted by Lake County Parks & Recreation. Kelseyville Unified School District does not sponsor or endorse this activity and is not responsible for participation.
