Lake County Library — Summer Reading Program
Sign-ups open: June 4, 2026
Program ends: August 1, 2026
Reading over the summer helps prevent summer learning loss and sets students up for a strong start in the fall. Sign up for the Lake County Library's Summer Reading Program to log reading, play games, and earn prizes! All ages are welcome: Pre-K, Kids, Teens, and Adults.

KES School Library — Open This Summer!
For RIV and KES students only
The KES School Library is open every Tuesday this summer — a great space to read, explore, and enjoy story time!
- Hours: Tuesdays, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Story Times: 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, each followed by a fun activity

Space & Engineering Camp at Taylor Observatory
Hosted by Lake County Office of Education · Taylor Observatory, Kelseyville 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Explore the wonders of the universe at the Taylor Observatory! LCOE is hosting two sessions of their Space and Engineering Camp this summer — a hands-on experience for young scientists.

- 1st–4th Grade: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Mendocino College Basketball Camp
June 22–25 · 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Lakeport Dance Center — Summer Dance Camp

Mendocino County Sport Academy — Summer Soccer Camp
A one-week summer camp hosted in June with options for all skill levels. Scholarships are available for families who need financial assistance. Fall soccer season begins mid-August.

Clear Lake State Park — StoryWalks & Family Days
Every second Saturday of the month · Visitor Center, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Free park entry on these dates
Head to Clear Lake State Park on the second Saturday of each month for a special family day! The bookmobile will be on-site along with crafts, activities, a StoryWalk, and more.
