Programs That Prepare Students for Success
At KVUSD, we offer specialized programs designed to help every student discover their path and develop the skills they need for college, career, and life success.

Career Technical Education (CTE)
Our Career Technical Education programs give students real-world skills and experience in high-demand fields. Students learn from experienced professionals, gain industry certifications, and build connections with local employers. Whether interested in healthcare, skilled trades, business, or other fields, our CTE pathways prepare students for immediate career success or further education.

Dual Language Immersion Program
Our Dual Language Immersion Program celebrates and develops bilingualism while building academic excellence for all students. Students become fluent in both English and Spanish while gaining the cognitive, academic, and social benefits of bilingualism. This program opens doors to future educational and career opportunities in an increasingly global world.

Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID)
AVID empowers first-generation and underrepresented students to reach their college and career goals. Through focused instruction, tutoring, field trips, and mentorship, AVID students develop critical thinking skills, organizational strategies, and the confidence they need to succeed in advanced courses and pursue higher education.

EDMO (After-School Program)
Our after-school program provides a safe, supportive space where students can explore interests, receive academic support, participate in enrichment activities, and build positive relationships with peers and mentors. EDMO extends learning beyond the school day and helps students develop into well-rounded individuals.
