Lakeside Park will soon feature a new community mural, and local youth are invited to be part of the creative process!
The "Rooted in Place" initiative offers a collaborative youth-led mural making opportunity for young people ages 14-26. Participants will work together to design and paint a mural that celebrates our community and beautifies Lakeside Park.
This hands-on art project provides an excellent opportunity for students to:
- Express creativity and artistic vision
- Collaborate with peers on a meaningful community project
- Gain experience in public art and mural design
- Leave a lasting mark on our local parks
