ENJOY SPRING BREAK – APRIL 6-10
I hope you have a wonderful spring break, and we will see you back on campus on Monday, April 13. Make sure to keep reading over break to keep those skills sharp! April is National Library Month, and what's a better way to celebrate than checking out a book and enjoying it over break with your student!

ATTENDANCE CHALLENGE WINNERS
Congratulations to Mrs. Murphy's 3rd-grade class for winning our attendance challenge with an incredible 98.09% attendance rate! These kiddos got to enjoy an extra hour of recess, face painting, bubbles, watermelon, and a DJ performance by me! A big thank you to our food services for the Monday cookie parties, our student body council & Mrs. Panella for organizing the fun, and to our amazing families who made sure their students were at school on time and ready to learn.

MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES
Our school is committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of every student. We want families to know there are free, confidential resources available to help children and teens navigate life's challenges.

For children ages 0–12: BrightLife Kids provides personalized support for California families, including free expert coaching for sleep challenges, worry, social skills, and more. Services include live 1:1 video sessions, secure chat, and on-demand resources. Learn more or sign up here.

For teens and young adults (ages 13–25): Soluna offers a safe, confidential space to build coping skills, set goals, and connect one-on-one for support. Learn more or sign up here.

PINWHEEL GARDEN
KES is proud to recognize Child Abuse Awareness Month by “planting” our front lawn with pinwheels as a symbol of hope, safety, and support for all children. Each pinwheel represents our shared commitment to protecting and nurturing the well-being of every student. We invite you to donate pinwheels to our garden by dropping them off at our front office. Thank you!
