NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION
Thank you to our local Tribes and organizations for creating such a special and educational day for our students, and a huge thank you to our student dancers! Our students had an amazing experience learning about Native American culture and participating in various traditions. We are grateful for your dedication and hard work in making this day so memorable for our students!
TURKEY TROT – NOV. 18
Get ready for our Turkey Trot! Each grade level will participate in a friendly race, with exciting prizes for the top finishers. We’re also looking for district-cleared volunteers to help on race day. - 8:45 – 9:00 am: SPED
- 9:00 – 9:15 am: TK
- 9:15 – 9:30 am: Kindergarten
- 10:10 – 10:25 am: 1st Grade
- 10:25 – 10:40 am: 2nd Grade
- 10:40 – 11:00 am: 3rd Grade
- 12:40 – 12:55 pm: 4th Grade
- 1:00 – 1:15 pm: 5th Grade

SIGN UP FOR OUR GIVING TREE!
Our Annual Giving Tree is back! Community members who would like to support our students can pick up information in the main office starting November 19th. Please make sure gifts are wrapped and returned to the office by December 9th. Thank you for helping make the season brighter for our KES students!
MORNING DROP OFF REMINDER
Please drop students off at the front of the school (not the MUR building) after 7:30 a.m., when supervision begins. This helps keep everyone safe and buses moving smoothly. Thank you!
LOST & FOUND
Our Lost & Found will be displayed on the front fence at the end of next week, but you’re welcome to stop by early before Fall Break to claim your student’s items. Unclaimed items will be donated at month’s end.

NOVEMBER FOOD RESOURCES
We want to remind families that all KVUSD students will continue to have access to free meals at school each day. If your family is in need of food assistance for your children during Fall Break, please reach out to your school counselor so they can help connect you with available support. For a list of local food resources available in November, click here.
