NO SCHOOL – TUESDAY, NOV. 11
A reminder that there will be no school on Tuesday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day. We honor and thank all those who have served our country.
NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION
November is Native American Heritage Month, a time to honor and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Native Americans. To celebrate, our students will attend a districtwide event on Thursday, Nov. 13, at Kelseyville High School. The celebration will include a dance performance, cultural demonstrations, and educational stations from local tribes and agencies to learn, connect, and celebrate the diverse traditions and heritage that continue to enrich our community and country.
NOVEMBER FOOD RESOURCES
We want to remind families that all KVUSD students will continue to have access to free meals at school each day. If your family is in need of food assistance for your children during Fall Break, please reach out to your school counselor so they can help connect you with available support. KELSEYVILLE YOUTH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
Registration for Kelseyville Youth Basketball is open now through November 14th for students in grades 1–6. Don’t miss this opportunity for kids to learn teamwork, build skills, and have fun on the court! Register here.
TURKEY TROT – NOV. 17
Get ready for our Turkey Trot! Each grade level will participate in a friendly race, with exciting prizes for the top finishers. Race times will be shared soon, with the first race kicking off at 8:45 a.m. We’re also looking for district-cleared volunteers to help on race day.
