EARLY DISMISSAL WEDNESDAYS BEGIN OCT. 1
Starting Wednesday, October 1st, students will be dismissed on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm. Teachers will be using these afternoons to collaborate on lesson plans that best support student success.
SMILE! PICTURE DAY – OCT. 2
Picture Day is Thursday, October 2! Orders can be placed by returning the packet sent home with your student or online using #ID: EVTWSVV3W. As a reminder, please avoid face paint on Picture Day so we can capture everyone’s best smile.
CUSTODIAN APPRECIATION DAY – OCT. 2
Our custodians work hard behind the scenes to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. We are so grateful for all they do to make our classrooms and campus a healthy place to learn and grow!
MORNING DROP OFF
Please drop students off at the front of the school (not the MUR building) after 7:30 a.m., when supervision begins. This helps keep everyone safe and buses moving smoothly. Thank you!

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
We need the help of volunteers to create fun events and meaningful experiences for our students. There are several ways to get involved:
- General Volunteering - Sign up to help on campus or on field trips! The volunteer process includes fingerprinting and a TB test. Pick up a volunteer application at the district office, 4410 Konocti Rd, Kelseyville.
- School Site Council (SSC) - Help represent the community and drive the direction of KES. If you’re interested in helping with this important opportunity, please contact the school at (707) 279-4232.
- English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) - Support students by joining this committee designated to advise school officials on English learner programs and services. Please contact the school at (707) 279-4232 to learn more.
REMINDER: OUT SICK? LET US KNOW!
With all the seasonal bugs going around, we know students may need to stay home and rest. If your child is out sick, please be sure to call the office at 707-279-4232 and let us know.
