JOIN US! SSC & ELAC MEETINGS – OCT. 8
Join us in the library on Wednesday, October 8, for our first School Site Council (SSC) and English Learner Advisory Committee meetings of the year! SSC begins at 3:00 pm, followed by ELAC at 3:30 pm.
MORNING DROP OFF IN FRONT OF SCHOOL
Please drop students off at the front of the school (not the MUR building) after 7:30 a.m., when supervision begins. This helps keep everyone safe and buses moving smoothly. Thank you!
LOST & FOUND: CLAIM YOUR TREASURES!
Our Lost & Found is overflowing with treasures! Jackets, lunchboxes, and sweaters are all waiting to be reunited with their owners. Next time you’re on campus, please swing by and take a peek; you might just spot something that belongs to your student.
HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAMES
As we continue to enjoy football season, we want to remind parents that middle school and elementary students must be accompanied by an adult to any KHS football games. This helps make sure everyone has a safe and fun time cheering on our teams.
SCHOOL RULES & TOOLS REMINDER
Here is some information to help you familiarize yourself with our school practices and procedures.
- Brag Tags – motivational tags given to students to recognize positive behavior
- Bus Passes – If your student rides the bus, they will be provided with a bus pass that they must carry with them and scan each time they get on or off the bus
- Food Cards – Every student is given a card that must be scanned to receive breakfast
- Paw Prints – Paw prints are earned by following our school’s rules. Students can use them to buy prizes and privileges at our Paw store
