SCHOOL BUS SAFETY WEEK – OCT. 21 - 25
National School Bus Safety Week is a great time to remind everyone to be extra careful around school zones and buses. Make sure to stop when the red lights are flashing and stay alert on the road. Also, please remind your children to walk, not run, to and from the bus stop, use crosswalks, stay seated while the bus is moving, and always listen to the driver’s instructions. Thanks for helping keep our kids safe!

GET INVOLVED
Looking to get involved? We’d love to have you volunteer and be part of the fun! Whether it’s helping in the classroom or joining field trips, there are plenty of opportunities to create special memories with our students. Don’t miss out—complete the volunteer process at the district office and join in the excitement!

WHAT IS MEASURE R?
To fund essential repairs, modernize our facilities, and make space for our growing student population, the District and Board of Trustees have placed Measure R, a school improvement general obligation bond measure, on the November 5th ballot. If passed, the bond would provide funding to address many of our most urgent needs, including building new classrooms to make space for increased enrollment, repairing leaky roofs, and much more.

HALLOWEEN CELEBRATIONS
As Halloween is right around the corner, we wanted to remind you that toy weapons are not allowed on campus, and costumes must be appropriate for school. This year, we’ll be hosting the Halloween costume parade right here on campus, making it easier for you to see our kids in action! As always, dressing up is optional. We can’t wait to celebrate!
