PTO MOVIE NIGHT – TONIGHT!
Our Movie Night is tonight, Friday, Sept. 12. Join us in the MUR from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm for a fun evening with family and friends. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to get comfy, and we’ll have snacks/concessions available. We can’t wait to see you there!
HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
Next week marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to recognize and honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Their influence is deeply woven into the fabric of our country and our local community, and we are grateful for the traditions and achievements that continue to enrich and inspire us.
MAP TESTING BEGINS NEXT WEEK
MAP testing is coming up! Please help your child do their best by making sure they get plenty of rest and have a healthy snack each day.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT – SEPT. 17
Join us for Back to School Night on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 5:30–7:00 pm! PTO will kick things off with $5 hot dog meals (dog, chips, water) and t-shirts for sale starting at 5:30. We’ll gather for a Welcome in the MUR at 6:00 before parents head to classrooms.
GET INVOLVED!
We need the help of volunteers to create fun events and meaningful experiences for our students. There are several ways to get involved:
- General Volunteering - Sign up to help on campus or on field trips! The volunteer process includes fingerprinting and a TB test. Pick up a volunteer application at the district office, 4410 Konocti Rd, Kelseyville.
- School Site Council (SSC) - Help represent the community and drive the direction of KES. If you’re interested in helping with this important opportunity, please contact the school at (707) 279-4232.
- English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) - Support students by joining this committee designated to advise school officials on English learner programs and services. Please contact the school at (707) 279-4232 to learn more.
