Sign Up for Our College & Career Week

We are excited to invite you to participate in Kelseyville Elementary College & Career Week from Friday, May 30th, to Thursday, June 5th! This special event is designed to introduce our young students to the possibilities that lie ahead, whether through higher education, trade schools, or careers, helping them dream big and start thinking about their futures.

Why College and Career Exposure Matters Early
Elementary school is the perfect time to ignite curiosity and plant the seeds for future success. Research indicates that early career exploration aids students in developing motivation, goal-setting skills, and a deeper sense of purpose in their educational pursuits. By sharing your career journey, you can spark a passion in our students and help them understand the many pathways available to them.

How You Can Participate
We have several opportunities for community members, businesses, and organizations to get involved:

• Vehicle Day – Friday, May 30th, 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
  Kickstarting Career Week, we are hosting a special Vehicle Day where students can get up close with different work-related vehicles. If your business or organization has a vehicle that plays a role in your work (fire trucks, delivery vans, construction equipment, etc.), we would love for you to participate!
   
• Classroom College and Career Presentations – Monday, June 2nd – Thursday, June 5th, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  Sign up for a 15-minute presentation to introduce students to your profession. You can share what you do, demonstrate a hands-on activity, or discuss the skills and education needed for your field. You may choose the grade levels you’d like to speak with and tailor your presentation accordingly.
