THANKS FOR A FABULOUS FALL FESTIVAL!

A huge thank-you to our amazing PTO, EDMO, and all the staff and high school volunteers who helped make our Fall Festival such a fun and memorable event! Your teamwork and enthusiasm created a truly special experience for our students and families. We’re so grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate and support our school. Thank you!

TIME TO FALL BACK!

Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday, November 2nd! Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour and enjoy the extra hour of sleep!

FALL BOOK FAIR – NOV. 3-7

Get ready for our Fall Book Fair! During the school day, students will have the chance to browse and shop during their library walkthroughs. You can preload money onto your child’s Scholastic eWallet for easy, cash-free shopping, or join us in person before or after school to find some great new reads together. Online shopping is also available Nov. 3–16.  A large portion of the proceeds comes right back to our school! Thank you for supporting the love of reading in our students!

RED RIBBON WEEK RECAP

Thank you for being a part of this week’s focus on healthy, drug-free lifestyles. This year’s theme, “Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free,” reminds us that every choice we make is a piece of our future. By making healthy decisions, you’re building a puzzle filled with success, happiness, and purpose. We are so proud of you and excited to see the incredible picture you’re creating for yourself. Keep adding those positive pieces – the best is yet to come!

KELSEYVILLE YOUTH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Registration for Kelseyville Youth Basketball is open now through November 14th for students in grades 1–6. Don’t miss this opportunity for kids to learn teamwork, build skills, and have fun on the court! Register here.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER
October has been an inspiring month as we continue to focus on Bullying Prevention and Awareness. Our students showed amazing creativity in our Bullying Prevention Poster Contest! Their artwork, now displayed throughout the school, reminds us every day to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible — both in school and online.

Families play an important role in supporting these lessons at home. Here are a few ways to keep the conversation going:

  • Talk openly & often: The more you talk with your child about bullying, the more comfortable they’ll feel sharing their experiences.
  • Encourage them to be upstanders: If your child sees someone being mistreated, remind them to Be Responsible and tell an adult or kindly ask the other person to Stop.
  • Be a role model: Show your child how to Be Respectful by treating others with kindness and speaking up when others are being mistreated.
  • Help build your child’s self-confidence: Help your child Be Safe by finding positive friendships through clubs, sports, or activities they love in our community.
  • Be a part of their online experience: Explain to your student how the online and the offline world are connected, and the different risks they could encounter online.
