CUSTODIAN APPRECIATION DAY – OCT. 2

BOOK BLAST – ENDS OCT. 3
Book Blast wraps up next week! Encourage your students to keep reading and earning prizes. Each dollar donated goes towards books for all students to help build their home libraries. Best of all, every student will take home at least one book for their personal collection. Let’s see how many books we can gather for our growing readers! Click here to get started.
SCHOOL DROP OFF BEGINS AT 7:15 AM
Please do not drop off your student before 7:15 am, as that is when supervision in the cafeteria begins. Students will be released to outdoor supervision after the first bell at 7:25 am. Thank you for helping us keep students safe!
COUNSELOR’S CORNER
Many of our students use cell phones outside of school, and we want to remind families of the importance of healthy cell phone habits.
Here are some tips to help your student use technology safely and responsibly while navigating the online world:
- Utilize built-in parental controls to help manage screen time, filter inappropriate content, and monitor internet usage.
- Discuss internet safety with your child and STAY INVOLVED.
- Blue light from phone screens can interfere with sleep. Establish a “no-phone” rule an hour before bedtime.
- Too much cell phone usage has been linked to increased anxiety in young people; limiting phone usage could help reduce stress, improve focus, and support overall emotional well-being.
- Lastly, remind students to never share their personal information online with anyone.
