Mendocino-Lake County Honor Band Concert – March 14
Join us for the Mendocino-Lake County Honor Band Concert on Saturday, March 14th, at 5:00 pm in the KHS Student Center. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our talented student musicians from across our two counties as they perform together. Come spend an evening celebrating the hard work and dedication of our talented student musicians!
Spring Sees for Seniors
Support our senior class by purchasing some See’s Candy for the Springtime festivities! You can either place your order online or in person with one of our seniors. In-person orders are due by March 18, while the online deadline is March 20.
Credit Recovery
All Acellus coursework is due May 15 and must be completed to be eligible for graduation. Don’t wait until the last minute! Trying to finish weeks of lessons in just a couple of days won’t work, since the course tracks progress over time, not just completion. Stay on top of your lessons now to stay on track for success!
Dress Code Reminder
As the weather warms up, we kindly ask you to remind your student about our dress code expectations. Outfits should be school-appropriate, which means no exposed midriff or undergarments, shorts and skirts should be no shorter than 10 inches from the knee, and nothing with inappropriate or offensive language, graphics, or references. Attendance Challenge
Students who attend school regularly achieve higher grades, develop stronger academic habits, and are better prepared for future success. To encourage and recognize this commitment, our school district and the Lake County Office of Education are holding attendance challenges with prizes for students who miss one day or fewer each month. We encourage you to check in with your students about their daily attendance and help them stay on track. Thank you for helping us support your student's success!
