Spring Sports Season Begins Feb. 9
Baseball, softball, track and field, and boys volleyball are around the corner! All athletic paperwork and current physicals must be submitted before tryouts begin on Feb. 9. Athletic paperwork only needs to be submitted once per school year, so if your student's physical was submitted earlier this year, there's no need to resubmit. Forms can be accessed and submitted through Google Classroom using code: 32btdlai. For questions, please contact Mr. White at kwhite@kvusd.org.
Attendance Matters
Regular school attendance is directly linked to academic success, graduation rates, and college readiness. Students who attend school consistently are more likely to stay on track with coursework, build stronger relationships with teachers and peers, and develop the habits needed for future success. If your student is struggling with attendance, please contact their counselor so we can work together to address any barriers. Thank you for your partnership in helping your student get to school every day, on time, and ready to learn.

Reminder: Tutorial Wednesdays
Tutorial is held every Wednesday and gives students dedicated time for academic support, teacher check-ins, or enrichment activities. Students sign up weekly through the FlexiSched app in their ClassLink account. Sign-ups open Thursday morning and close Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Encourage your student to browse options and register each week—families can view the current offerings here.
Senior Reminders
Seniors and their families are encouraged to regularly check the Class of 2026 Google Classroom to stay up to date on important deadlines. Key items to track include FAFSA applications, graduation requirements and orders, scholarship opportunities, Acellus coursework, and volunteer hour completion. Staying organized now will help ensure a smooth path to graduation.
