Keeping Our School Community Healthy
As we move into cold and flu season, please help remind students to wash their hands regularly, cover coughs and sneezes, and avoid touching their faces. These simple habits make a big difference in reducing the spread of illness and keeping our school community healthy as we head into the holidays. Thank you for your support.
Senior Reminders

Completing the FAFSA is your key to accessing federal financial aid for college or career training. The official deadline is March 2nd, but it’s a good idea to get ahead and submit as soon as possible. - Order Your Graduation Items!
It’s time for seniors to order their cap and gown, class jewelry, announcements, and senior apparel! You can order online here.

November Food Resources
We want to remind families that all KVUSD students will continue to have access to free meals at school each day.If your family is in need of food assistance for your children during Fall Break, please reach out to your school counselor so they can help connect you with available support. For a list of local food resources available in November, click here.
Reminder: Independent Study – 2 Week Notice
If your student will be going on independent study, we ask that you provide a two-week notice, so our teachers have time to prepare your child’s work. You can contact our attendance secretary, Lori, at Lbour@kvusd.org to make arrangements. Thank you for helping us set your student up for success!
