We are excited to host the 53rd Annual Stokes Basketball Tournament next week from December 18 - 20! Students will be competing throughout the days, and community members are welcome to come cheer on our Knights! You can view the bracket here.

Early Dismissal Day – Dec. 19
Students will be dismissed at 1:30 pm on Friday, December 19th. Winter break begins Dec. 22 until Jan. 2.

Helping Students Make Healthy Choices
E-cigarettes (vapes) often contain nicotine and other toxic chemicals, which can negatively affect brain development, memory, attention, and mental health. If your student is vaping, supportive conversations, clear expectations, and encouraging healthy ways to handle stress can make a big difference. Together, we can help students stay informed, safe, and healthy. Learn more and find support here.

Senior Reminders

  • FAFSA Application
Completing the FAFSA is your key to accessing federal financial aid for college or career training. The official deadline is March 2nd, but it’s a good idea to get ahead and submit as soon as possible.
  • Order Your Graduation Items!
It’s time for seniors to order their cap and gown, class jewelry, announcements, and senior apparel! You can order online here.
  • Apply for Scholarships!
Scholarship applications are rolling out! Check the Class of 2026 Google Classroom to stay updated on opportunities and deadlines.
  • Acellus Coursework
All Acellus coursework is due May 15 and must be completed to be eligible for graduation. Don’t wait until the last minute! Trying to finish weeks of lessons in just a couple of days won’t work, since the course tracks progress over time, not just completion. Stay on top of your lessons now to stay on track for success!

Free Social Media Safety Workshops
The Polly Klaas Foundation is offering free workshops to help keep our teens safe online and in the real world. Topics include the real consequences of sexting and sex trafficking, the dangers of running away, and how to spot red flags in online behavior. Workshops include childcare, free dinner, and are open to all families. The first workshop will be on Jan. 8, 2026, so save the date! Learn more and RSVP here.
