A reminder that there will be no school on Tuesday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day. We honor and thank all those who have served our country.
Native American Heritage Month Celebration
November is Native American Heritage Month, a time to honor and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Native Americans. To celebrate, our students will attend a districtwide event on Thursday, Nov. 13, on the KHS Football Field. The celebration will include a dance performance, cultural demonstrations, and educational stations from local tribes and agencies to learn, connect, and celebrate the diverse traditions and heritage that continue to enrich our community and country.
Seniors: Order Your Graduation Items!
It’s time for seniors to order their cap and gown, class jewelry, announcements, and senior apparel! Order online by November 14th to receive special discounts, including a free cap, gown, and tassel with a class ring purchase and up to $100 off your class ring.
November Food Resources
We want to remind families that all KVUSD students will continue to have access to free meals at school each day. If your family is in need of food assistance for your children during Fall Break, please reach out to your school counselor so they can help connect you with available support. Reminder: Independent Study – 2 Week Notice
If your student will be going on independent study, we ask that you provide a two-week notice, so our teachers have time to prepare your child’s work. You can contact our attendance secretary, Lori, at Lbour@kvusd.org to make arrangements. Thank you for helping us set your student up for success!
