LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL SCHEDULE
Our final week has a special dismissal schedule. On Monday, June 8, students will be released at their regular dismissal of 3:06 p.m. From Tuesday, June 9, to Friday, June 12, students will be dismissed early at 1:30 pm.
YEARBOOKS – GET YOURS BEFORE JUNE 10
We still have several yearbooks available for purchase in the main office. Yearbooks will be passed out on June 10, followed by our signing event, so make sure to grab yours before then.
FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS – JUNE 10
Free physicals will be held on Wednesday, June 10, from 1:00–5:00 pm in the Kelseyville MUR Gym. Walk-ins are welcome, and all required paperwork will be provided. A current sports physical is required each year, so this is the perfect time to get it done!
8TH GRADE PROMOTION & DANCE – THURSDAY, JUNE 11
We're excited to celebrate our 8th graders! Please join us for the promotion ceremony from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Kelseyville High School Field. Following the ceremony, students are invited to the 8th grade dance at the Konocti Vista Resort from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. We're so proud of everything our 8th graders have accomplished!
FIELD DAY – FRIDAY, JUNE 12
We're closing out the school year with Field Day on Friday, June 12! Please pack your student an extra change of clothes, sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water to keep them comfortable and protected throughout the day. Families are welcome to come help supervise and join in on the fun. Since there is limited natural shade on site (some nice trees on campus), you're welcome to set up a canopy for the day (9:00 am - 1:30 pm).
A reminder that our school dress code applies to all attendees, including families. Swim trunks and one-piece swimsuits are welcome. Two-piece swimsuits and bikini tops require a t-shirt worn on top. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in keeping Field Day fun and appropriate for all students.
LAST CHANCE FOR LOST AND FOUND!
Our lost and found pile is still overflowing with unclaimed items! Please swing by before the last day of school to check for your child's missing belongings.
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW ASB OFFICERS
Congratulations to our newly elected student body officers! A round of applause for President: Audrey Panella, VP: Kaydence Naber, Secretary: Jaycee Anderson, and Treasurer: Kainoa Cabreros. We are so proud of each of you and can't wait to see the great things you'll accomplish next year.
2026–2027 RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION
Registration for next year is now open! Returning students can register through their PowerSchool Portal. Click on Forms and complete the six necessary forms. Need help? Email helpdesk@kvusd.org.
CONSTRUCTION SAFETY REMINDER
There is ongoing construction down the street where a new sidewalk is being installed from KHS to MVMS and KES. During this time, it's important that we all prioritize the safety of our students. We ask drivers to be extra aware of children crossing and to pay close attention to stop signs and construction zones. We encourage your child to use the temporary crosswalk we have in place and remind them of proper road crossing safety—looking both ways before crossing. Please reinforce these safety habits with your child as we continue through the end of the year.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your student’s teacher or contact me at rkale@kvusd.org.
