Happy Classified Employee Appreciation Week! This week, we proudly celebrate our incredible classified employees, the dedicated individuals who keep our schools running strong each and every day. From transportation and maintenance to office support, paraprofessionals, food services, and more, your hard work makes a lasting impact behind the scenes and beyond.
Thank you for your dedication, reliability, and the countless ways you support our students, staff, and families. Our schools wouldn’t be the same without you — we truly appreciate everything you do!
CAASPP TESTING CONTINUES
CAASPP testing continues into next week, and we want every student to succeed. Here's how you can help: make sure your student arrives on time and eats a healthy breakfast before school. Well-rested students who've eaten a good meal are ready to show what they've learned. Let's work together to set our students up for success!
SPRING CONCERT – MAY 21
Join us for our Spring Concert on Thursday, May 21, at 7:00 pm in the KHS Student Center. This performance features our middle school musicians along with 5th grade students from Kelseyville Elementary and Rivera Elementary. Let’s celebrate the musical talents of our students and the hard work they've put in this year!
CLASS OF 2031 PARENT MEETING – MAY 26
Parents of current 7th graders, save the date! We're holding our first Class of 2031 Parent Meeting on Tuesday, May 26, at 5:30 pm in the Library. This gathering is a chance to get together and learn what's ahead as our students transition to 8th grade next year. We'll discuss promotion activities, fundraising opportunities for the class promotion dance, and how we can work together to support our students. This is our first meeting as the Class of 2031, so it's a great time to connect with other families and get involved!

REMINDER: WELLNESS POLICY
We want to remind families that our wellness policy requires all snacks brought to school to meet federal Smart Snacks standards. This supports the health of our students and keeps our meal program in good standing. If your student is bringing snacks to share with classmates, please check our wellness policy resource guide—look for compliant options rather than cookies, candy, or sugary treats. Thanks for being partners in keeping our students healthy!
REMINDER: KEEPING CTL SCORES UP
There's still time for your student to improve their CTL scores! Remind your student of the importance of doing their best in class and showing up every day—good attendance and engagement directly impact their performance and their ability to participate in end-of-year activities. You can check their current scores in PowerSchool anytime. Let's finish the year strong together!
