ASIAN AMERICAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER HERITAGE MONTH

The term "Asian" encompasses East Asia, Southeast Asia, and South Asia, while "Pacific Islander" includes Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. This month honors the resilience and achievements of AAPI communities, from the laborers who helped build the transcontinental railroad in the 1800s to the vibrant leaders and innovators shaping our communities today.
