As we begin Winter Break, we would like to thank our students, families, and staff for their hard work and dedication during the first half of the school year. We hope this time away from school allows everyone to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming students back to campus on Monday, January 5, 2026, ready for a strong start to the new year.

FREE SOCIAL MEDIA SAFETY WORKSHOPS
The Polly Klaas Foundation is offering free workshops to help keep our teens safe online and in the real world. Topics include the real consequences of sexting and sex trafficking, the dangers of running away, and how to spot red flags in online behavior. Workshops include childcare, free dinner, and are open to all families. The first workshop will be on Jan. 8, 2026, so save the date! Learn more and RSVP here.
JOHN BERRY BOYS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT – JAN. 9 & 10
Come support our student athletes at the MUR and KHS gyms! Games run Friday 3:30–8:00 pm and Saturday 8:30 am –4:45 pm.

KEEP READING OVER WINTER BREAK!
Encourage your student to build at least 20 minutes of reading into their winter break activities. Keeping up with reading helps maintain skills and vocabulary while school is out.
