Dual Enrollment

Imagine starting your college journey while still walking the halls of Kelseyville High School. Through our Dual Enrollment program, that's exactly what you can do. A partnership with Mendocino College allows our students to earn transferable college credits at absolutely no cost while fulfilling their high school graduation requirements.

What is Dual Enrollment?

KVUSD offers dual enrollment opportunities for eligible students to take college courses and earn college credit while still in high school. High school students can take college-level classes at KHS and earn both high school and college credit at the same time!

Through our partnership with Mendocino College, students attend college classes on our Kelseyville High School campus during our normal bell schedule, earning college credits while satisfying high school graduation requirements. This program decreases the overall cost of attending college by allowing students to complete a number of undergraduate general education requirements ahead of time, at no extra cost to the student.

IGETC Pathway Opportunity

Students following the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) pathway have the potential to complete an entire year's worth of college coursework through our dual enrollment program. This represents an incredible opportunity for motivated students to significantly accelerate their college journey while saving substantial money.
